What are the best Basecamp alternatives?

Due to Basecamp’s recent company policy updates, I no longer want to be a customer.

I need a new tool for project management. What are some of the best options for indie hackers?

I tried ClickUp and it seems promising.

    We don't have to solve deep social problems, chime in publicly whenever the world requests our opinion on the major issues of the day, or get behind one movement or another with time or treasure.
    
    part? I mean yeah that's a deeply irresponsible claim for a corporation living in a democracy where corporations are considered people and are allowed to lobby etc. If you don't want to be responsible at least be quit about not being responsible - they are practically bragging about being bad citizens.
