What are the best guides on writing landing page copy (for a SaaS product)?

The internet is stuffed with guides on this but I'm having trouble knowing the good ones from the bad ones.

I'm a developer and something that goes step-by-step and explains the overall structure of the copy/page would be great.

Which guides on writing landing page copy did you guys find particularly helpful?

Thanks for your help, looking forward to your recommendations!

    https://www.julian.com/guide/growth/landing-pages is a great one.

I plan on creating a list of the best ones and adding them to https://saaspages.xyz/

Hey, SaaS Pages is pretty nifty. Hadn't come across it before. :) I like the highly structured approach.

Thanks! We had a need for it, so built it out for everyone and seems to be providing value for a lot of people.

That guide looks really good, I will check it out. Thank you! :)

Also can you let me know when you've compiled that list? :)

I would highly recommend these resources:

    • Building a StoryBrand - By Donald Miller (book)
    • Websites that Convert - By Claire Suellentrop (book)
    • Writing copy for landing pages - By Stripe (https://bit.ly/2QQHE87)
    • Landing pages - By Julian Shapiro (https://bit.ly/2M36TfP)

      Great recommendations, thank you!

Julian Shapiro's landing-page guide linked in the other comment is great.

"Building a Storybrand" is also great at breaking down the components of what makes customers listen. I've listened to the audiobook ~5 times. https://www.amazon.com/Building-StoryBrand-Clarify-Message-Customers/dp/0718033329

Wow, that is a lot of free content. I've downloaded it, thank you :)

The article honestly looks a bit sketchy because the font is so hard to read. I probably would have skipped it if I was coming from Google, but I'll check it out. Thank you! :)

Neville Medhora from kopywritingkourse.com has been my go to resource.
He’s got some good stuff on YouTube:

I subscribed and I must say his first email was pretty entertaining to read. I hope I can apply some of the lessons without having to write one of those long form sales letters. ^_^ Thanks!
