Caveat: I've read Gabriel Weinberg's Traction.
What are the best hands-on books/newsletters/accounts/resources for solo SaaS founders?
Working with the realities of paid Google/Facebook/Reddit/Bing/TikTok/etc. PPC advertising is a completely new realm for a solo founder Indie Hacker. Everything from creative to conversion, you're completely in the wild for what you need to do and what actually works. Surprisingly(?), these huge ad platforms seem designed to waste your money with ineffective ad campaigns if you're unfamiliar with them and how they work.
What are the best resources/books/newsletters/podcasts/creators for real-world paid SaaS marketing?
Jon Loomer for Facebook Ads and KlientBoost for Google Ads.
Thanks, these look great!
For me what has worked best is to find where my users hang and try to show the value of my products. That's why the first step of my bootstrapper's guide is to find a target audience
Yesterday I posted a similar question https://www.indiehackers.com/post/share-your-best-marketing-resource-from-the-bookmark-list-ff9154df34
I'm still collecting more resources as soon as I complete the list I'll share it here on indiehackers.
