I want to build a Q/A feature similar to Stack Overflow and I love how the commenting system works here on Indie Hackers.
What are the best options for adding comments to a web app these days?
I'm considering Disqus and Commento. I could build something from scratch but would prefer not to reinvent the wheel.

I’ve used Disks before but it always felt a bit heavy. Comment is cleaner, but I’ve also seen people recommend building a super lightweight custom solution if you only need basic features. Curious what you end up choosing please share an update.

I was also researching commenting systems, didn't know about commento ... I guess one advantage of commento is that it is MIT licensed - could deploy yourself now or in future

Thanks all for the suggestions. Going to go with either hyvor talk or commentbox. SSO, API features, and pricing seem best with these two. Will test out both APIs and see what feels best.
