What are the best (or unusual) pricing pages on the internet?

Research!

I want to test two versions of a pricing page:

  1. Best practice pricing page - kinda thing that everyone does, 3 plans, mid-one is most popular, you know the page that everyone does.
  2. Bat-shit crazy pricing page - a pricing page that could be an experience, a configurator, interactive, interesting, weird, fun, different.

Do you know any pricing pages that are more "interesting" or unusual? Or bat-shit crazy?

thanks.

I'm not sure I have a favorite, but I have collected screenshots of pricing pages that I've come across and liked: https://dkrape.dropmark.com/412406?q=%23pricing

One thought on testing two very different versions: The more different they are, the harder it may be to understand why one is performing better than the other. For example, was it the different text, colors, graphics, etc. that made the difference or something else that made the difference?

      Thanks for this, great research!

I do not think that the 2nd example you give is "bat shit crazy". Sometimes configurators are giving the user more insights, because the service is pay as you go.

    Some examples:

I haven't really seen any crazy-looking pricing pages out there.

My 2 cents as to why: when people go to your pricing page, they want to quickly and easily find out how much your product costs. Anything else is an annoyance to them. It might be better to have your landing page be an experience, but have your pricing page be clear.

But as with anything, I'd encourage you to test it out! Who knows, maybe people might like it.

Yes, I think you are spot on.
