There is no simple formula for this. Something works for one but not for another.

I generate leads from Facebook Groups. I scrape niche or targeted FB group & extract group members' data.
Sometimes I scrape data from my competitor's profile/ published posts. (like data of their post likers or commenters)

Do you use an app to scrape from Facebook or your own scripts?

I use Prospectss.com to scrape groups and then send them emails using lemlist.com

For the ones that I don't get email I send them fb message using prospectss itself

We have a tool for searching & fetching comments (along with emails if any)

    1. Create webinars. 2. Create blog posts. 3. Create videos. 4. Create free guides & checklists. 5. Create ebooks. 6. Create case studies. 7. Create product comparison tables. 8. Create free email courses that are valuable.

I think the most important thing is knowing who your product is serving and finding them.
    Thinks like:

    • Inbound marketing
    • Cold emails
    • Twitter spaces
    • Strategic partnership with influencers in your industry

Cost effective - cold email / message by:

    1. searching on google + linkedin & message people
    2. extracing members from relevant linkedin groups

We have tools to automate a bulk of this stuff - https://www.getsalesfox.com/

=> What doesn't work "well" (depending on audience, but i'd say this is "mostly" the case) : cold call or w/o giving them "context" - if your first touch is cold call, this doesn't work so hot (just think about how many times you picked a call from a call ID that you don't recognize). If you're gonna cold call, cold email first.

=> What works well (surprisingly) : hand written letters. We're thinking about automating this (using machine learning to generate handwritten letters then having XY plotters to "handwrite") if there's enough demand

=> What works well but is "risky" - ringless voicemail (i.e. deliver message to your prospect w/o ringing his/her phone). Recent robocall regulations came down but still many people have different interpretations of what is considered "robocall". I think this is b/c politicians are still using a shit ton of it.

=> What works well but is not scalable - one-on-one webinar (cold email to calender). You can try and do group but you wont get their attention as well.

=> Avoid: cold sms. I know it's weird how it's not as "bad" as cold emailing someone even though the effect is the same (i.e. getting an alert on the phone).. but for some reason, people are super touchy-sensitive about it.

To me, the easiest and most cost-effective way to generate leads is through cold outreach on Linkedin and through email. The more effective channel between the two depends on your ICP and demographics.

I actually put together a guide on getting started with cold outreach to supercharge your lead genreation. It's in the draft phase but happy to share it if you want to learn more.

    Linkedin Outreach and Linkedin Ads

Reddit outreach via Howitzer was a great channel for us at Datalogz. All 3 co-founders were leveraging it. It worked really well until a few weeks ago, guess Reddit it cracking down on automated outbound! We also do a ton of Linkedin automation (via Zopto).

      Zopto is expensive

      1. 1

It is but we've found it's better than some other LI automation tools when LI starts to push updates, etc. LI Helper is significantly cheaper but functionality isn't as good.

try Linkedcamp.com it is cheaper and safest or better than zopto or expendi. We have lots of customers from zopto and expandi.

Creating feature-based and technical content is the best way. Also Twitter is a goldmine for B2B lead generation.

      What about LinkedIn?

@antovtok How do you use Twitter specifically for lead generation?

      1. 1

For example by posting interesting stories related to the product or, if possible building in public and describing the whole process.

      2. 1

could use tweetscraper.io to target audiences on twitter and scrape any b2b email

It depends on a lot of variables. I worked in a startup once where they got the best results on Facebook getting B2B by giving everyone who signed up an e-book.

I think LinkedIn is great as well, but it's super expensive.

The toughest one is Google Ads, but if you can nail your keyword research, you might have a gold mine waiting for you.

Lastly, PPC platforms like Capterra, G2, Software Advice etc., are perfect for generating B2B leads if you have a product that fits into this category.

I think it depends on a couple of things. Who is your target audience and how much are you planning on charging?
