What are the best ways to get followers on twitter?
So we launched our Twitter a few days ago (shameless plug - you can follow us here https://twitter.com/dl3arn) and we are curious to know what is the best way to get the ball rolling and get some followers. What strategies have worked for you?
As @dev_bre points out - don't bother creating tweets, reply to people instead.
I get very little engagement (and no revenue) from my tweets but I've got some great views, profile visits, and customers & revenue from replies I've made to other tweets.
The best strategy you can follow is engaging as much as possible with other accounts.
Just posting on your profile is not going to give you much visibility.
Replies to posts from bigger accounts will.
