What are the most hotly debated topics in tech at the moment?

by Rich Taylor

I’m curious. What are people polarised by most at the moment in tech?

    • Is no code of any value? Techies say no, non-techies say yes.
    • Tailwind vs CSS or others?
    • There's a push against SPAs and going back to ol' server rendered monoliths, at least in the startup/indie hacking space.
    • Best frontend SPA framework?

Does crypto have real world benefits or is it just a pyramid scheme? At least it is if you ever go on Hacker News.

Haha! I figured crypto would be in there! 😂 I’m reading “rework” and there’s a chapter about “picking a fight”. In the nicest way obviously but it’s referring to conversations with passionate people on either side. I wondered what other ideas people may have.

Trying to get featured in Indiehackers with a hot take, eh? 🤣

Oh, I dunno, you can easily make a sh*tpost on political censorship, cryptocurrency, framework / language wars, etc. Back up your opinion with actual substance though.

To launch a debate there is still the old pro & anti Apple products debate.

    It still works.
