What are the pros/cons of having a co-founder from another country?
I did some research on this on quora and all the answers only emphasised on the cons. However since most of the answers seem to have assumed that raising capital is the main goal, this left me wondering if it'd still be a major problem if I'm bootstrapping my business and don't intend on finding investors.
You might find communication immensely harder. But you might find the variation in view points leading to better ideas...
There is also a lot of nuances to the question cause location and/or birthplace might not be a perfect indication of the thing that it commonly is..
Think about dating and couples, there are many mixed ones, but they are a tiny fraction of the total couple cause of many reasons, even if you look at immigrants...
your co-found is your partner for a long while, if you'd feel right about than go for it.
