What are the steps needed to plan a successful website

Hi All,

I have an idea/project that I have had some validation on and would like to process with.

I wanted some advice on how to plan it, specifically the site.

I am a developer so I understand that code part but not the design and steps needed.

For example do I start with a blueprint of all screens and ux ?

Any resources and advice would be much appreciated.
