What are the things you didn't do to reach $x in MRR?

There are so many different posts about "Things I did to reach $x in MRR". Unfortunately, there's no "one size fits all" to be successful whatever success means.

What I saw the other day is the opposite — Things we didn't do while reaching $2M ARR by @PhilippeLehoux — which I think is more useful.

What are the things you didn't do to reach $x in MRR?

    I can start:

    • I didn’t have a pitch deck.
    • I didn’t have a Twitter account.
    • I didn't have a Facebook account.
    • I didn't have an Instagram account.
    • I didn’t have a Linkedin account.
    • I didn’t A/B tested anything.
    • I didn’t have more than 10 employees/contractors at any time.

    Despite of all those didn't do's, I reached $1M ARR back in 2013/14.
