Ahh, sorry I missed that. I recently lost my job due to the tech layoff and had to redo my resume and realized bad the current tools sucks.
I'm also a big fan of Ai in general and realized that I could use ChatGPT to build it. The problem was that it sucked to put it in a Google Doc format. So we built a custom solution to make it go directly into a Google Doc and automatically format.
That's pretty much the short of it!

Exactly! Everything is an asset, and if the original founders can't take that asset to forward or don't want to anymore, they have an opportunity to liquidate it. Nothing is wasted in an ideal world :)
Makes sense. Some times founders stop focusing on the community as it might go out of hand or for any other reason. With your product, they can get paid for their efforts.

I'm automating the process with Airtable, Zapier, and currently Mailchimp. I'm looking to switch over to ConvertKit because it has a lot more features for what I need.
Of course, I have ADHD, and got sidetracked thinking about other products...had to use some of my own newsletter advice on staying focused lol.

And the answer is - a combo of both. I am a designer by trade. My dev skills are limited to say the least.
Currently, other indiehackers fill in a form and then I add the tools manually. It takes between 3 to 5 min to add one, but I think the time will be reduced once I get used to it.

We're testing it with the internal team (startup studio of 200+) and our partners (early-stage founders). They use Momentum to build their startups and giving their feedback.
I believe being featured in the list for investors is what can bring more startups to us.
Yeah, that's a better way to start initially.
When we were building LaunchPedia tools directory, we searched and added manually. But once the site is up and running, people starting submitting tools.

Yet, may I be harsh and critical, but who is this website builder tailored for and what would be the main benefits of using it instead of WP, Wix, etc.?
One of the biggest advantages of using Notico over WP / Wix / etc. is that you can easily update your website content from the mobile phone on the go. You just use the Notion app.
Another big advantage is that you get built-in analytics without doing anything. You don't have to deal with third party apps.
If you are using Notion almost daily it is really easy to keep your website up to date. When I was using tools like WP I was always lazy to do it.
