What are you most proud of this year?

I'll start.

I launched my app Solfej (https://www.solfej.io/) for early access. Managed to get almost 1000 sign ups!

Your turn :)

Had one initial goal for the year: Launch something before you turn 30.

I turned 30 in May, and while I did not fully achieve my goal, I was able to launch a Shopify app and get it accepted to the app store by September.

Milestones I have reached since launching:

    • 500 users
    • 1000 app installs
    • $100 MRR by Oct
    • $1000 MRR by Dec

I am quite proud of my results and also just the achievement of putting a product out there.

It seems I have found some kind of product-market-fit and I now need to pour time and energy into growth and marketing (which tbh I have done very little of so far). Ironically, I feel like everything I have done so far has been easy and obvious while it is impossibly hard to imagine what I need to do in the future. Hopefully, I will feel the same way in a year :)

That's great! Pretty fast growth so far.

      That's awesome! $1000 MRR is impressive :)

Finally getting over project ADHD and shipping something end to end (https://monitoro.xyz) !

I couldn't wait for the next decade :D

Thanks @shash7! Do you have a specific usage in mind?

        1. 2

Pricetracker, payment plan changes, page redesign changes, etc.

Awesome! Let me know if you sign up (write to omar [@] monitoro.xyz)

I have a little deal for IH users even in the free plan.

Thanks bro. I'm not looking to use it at the moment but I'll definitely hit you up if I need it.

Moved across the world to work on Machine Learning projects for some of the largest retailers in the world. It has been an incredible year in terms of learning and development.

  4. 3

    Helping grow this community :)

I’m proud that I took the leap and released my first product. It has been an absolute blast running/growing Album Daily

Our projects are generally in the same sphere. Would you be open to collaborate? (Marketing wise. Guest posts etc)

Shoot me an email if you are [email protected]

That I trained and successfully ran my second marathon, shaving 28 minutes off my time!

Launching my website while working stressful 9-5 job: https://craftcode.design/

Nice one! Great question for year-end reflection. Most proud of:

    1. Learning Rails from scratch and making my first Rails app for tracking and sharing monthly goals/reviews/milestones.

    2. Discovering JAMstack, learning new tech/tools and creating a side hustle out of it to help others build JAMstack sites.

    3. Getting my first sponsorship deal for a nocode side project that scratched my own itch for my keto diet.

  9. 2

Paying customers who really enjoy the product (https://versoly.com/)

I enjoy getting support tickets because either way I get to improve the product. Something I never felt while working a day job or freelancing.

    1. 1

I relate to the support tickets. I thought I'd hate dealing with customer feedback, but it's one of my favorite parts :)

I added a ton of new premium features for Fantasy Football Calculator and it resulted in my best year for membership sales ever in 15 years.

  11. 1

I'm proud of being staying on track. It may be not so great achievement for someone but for me it is because in the past I used to jump from one idea to another one. I did several moves but eventually, I found (I think) what I'm really stuck to. As a result, I had a visible interest and an incredible number of Github stars (for a very short period of time :).

I didn't get to finish my product this year but I am glad that I left my freelancing job to work on my own business. Probably on January, I will have something to show here :)

Just (soft-)launched Hashr.io. Very proud indeed. Password protect will be lifted in the next couple of days. ;)
