Dude that looks sick! I've been pushing a lot of work into our page builder over at Mavenseed as well. Major props because I know first-hand how challenging it can be to build, a page builder.
Yep, anyone who builds a custom page builder i got mad respect for them.
MVP was meant to take 2/3 months took us 6/7 months.
Due to our unusual approach of allowing customers to change and import HTML natively, which gives them the ability to edit that imported code with our editor tools.
Interesting concept! How do you see the current website-builder market? It seems almost over-saturated at least to me. Then again there’s always space for a niche. How do you compare against similar products like Bubble?
The reason you see so many builders is because all the solutions miss something.
Carrd - 1 page, no blogs
"Simple builders" - inflexible, no blog/basic blog
Wordpress - hosting, plugins, security, SLOW
Ghost - great for a blog not much else
Webflow - need to be a designer and it is still limited
Bubble - Seems to be used for building web apps over marketing sites
At the moment Versoly is still a "simple builder" but it does its job very well.
We have a few more features coming out soon that will make us the go to solution. For $15 you will effectively get 5 different SaaS products.
The space is also very hot

Plugins for Wordpress are raising 15m from VCs, however companies that have been building on WP are looking to make their own solutions.

I'm working on userengine.io and this month I am going to be doing a lot of potential customer interviews trying to understand how businesses handle problems around understanding their users, using feedback, and finding product/market fit.
Awesome @noahwbragg! I tried out the demo yesterday so I am looking forward to it.
Would love to do that of potential customer interviews as you! How are you planning on acquiring or getting in contact with these people? I am building https://booktalk.io/ but I have no idea where to look for users and talk to them. Also what would be some questions you recommend? 😄
I would definitely recommend reading The Mom Test. Definitely worth your time. It will help you to ask the right kind of questions. You want to ask about things in the past. Not how they would do something. For me I'm going to try to find founders/PM from LinkedIn and slack groups and other communities online.
For what you're doing it really could be pretty general. I guess just people that like reading books. You could even go find people at your local library!
You want to find where the people that read books hang out and go ask them if they would do an interview.

I've been working on Writing Analytics for a few months now. I'm a software engineer by trade, and I've really enjoyed designing and building a whole product on my own. But in March, I'll have to take a break from coding and learn a thing or two about marketing!

That is why Pinterest and Youtube are good users go to them daily.

So this month is going to be an exciting one for me. Winter is almost over and glider pilots slowly crawl out of their workshops to start flying again.
I do not want to miss this season, so I'm going to release some early versions of the Skyhop app to Google Play to see how the reception is. This on itself however is not nearly as exciting as the way I am going to share it, as I'm going to involve everyone I'm flying with in the process. This is going to be fun!

I'm building the beta of EvoHIIT- Adaptable Circuit Timer for iOS at https://evohiiitapp.com.
I am working through how to find beta testers and when to determine that the app is ready for launch. This is the first application I have built so everything is new! While there are core features, there's also plenty of rough edges.
Goal for the month is to get 10 beta testers outside of my friends and family!
Getting more users on Broody.
Strategy:
• Respond to individuals who have the problem Broody solves (i.e. uncertainty about phrasing) on various platforms (Twitter, reddit, here)
• run a Youtube ad
• Reddit posts
• talk at my local 1millioncups meet-up
• post some of our design-y stuff (chickens wearing clothes) on Instagram
Will be refactoring, improving - and using - https://booktalk.io/
It is a first time for me, so I want to flex my muscle of looking for users and talking to them. Because to be perfectly honest almost all my sideprojects are forgotten after launch. And now I understand the relevance of polishing them and talking to users. Any advice on how to achieve this?

This month we're really pushing Mavenseed (https://mavenseed.com) as a CMS for independent creators. I've been putting a lot of work into the experience, especially into the page builder, and lately we're feeling pretty good about it!
I'm using Mavenseed myself for my personal project, my upcoming eBook called Playbook Thirty-nine - Design Patterns and Techniques for Rails Apps (https://playbookthirtynine.com). Just crossed over 18K words and 90+ pages and I"m on the homestretch! Still trying to drum up excitement about this though; people are of course more excited about shiny new tools vs new books to read 🙄.
