What are your best tips for creating compelling ad copy?

I'm putting together ads for my first LinkedIn campaign. I'm finding that writing ad copy that I feel would compel people to click is way harder than I thought.

What tips / methods / hacks have you employed in online advertising in the past that have led to good results? (Or totally bombed?)

You could start using the PAS formula: problem-agitate-solve. More on this: https://thecopybot.com/potent-little-sales-formula/

PS I'm not sure about Linkedin, but within Facebook Ads there is a feature called dynamic creative that allows you to write up to 5 different variations of your copy.

The system will then automatically test the performance of each one of them and choose the highest performing.
