What are your experiences with the Coinbase app on iOS?

Just wondering if anyone can share their experience of the iOS Coinbase app, does it work well?
I have not been able to add funds here in Canada. I suspect it's due to tighter regulations and my issuer is blocking txns but I've tried with credit and virtual debit with no success. Coinbase does give some free crypto though for completing some small tutorials which I think is pretty cool - so far that has been the only way I could get anything into my wallet.
