I want to create a list and rate them based on the amount of people who recommended each one.
One of the best books for entrepreneurs is "Lost and Founder: A Painfully Honest Field Guide to the Startup World" - Rand Fishkin.
"The Obstacle Is the Way" - Ryan Holiday is an inspiring book. To be kept in reach and read every time when you face adversity.

I would recommend Alchemy: The Surprising Power of Ideas That Don't Make Sense by Rory Sutherland
Selling for Dummies and Business Development for Dummies
Don't be put off by the "for Dummies" part, they are both very practical and easy to understand books. Not being a Type-A personality or having natural sales skills myself, they were very helpful in understanding sales techniques and practices when I first started freelancing.

I like the caveat you put right at the start of your comment not to be put off by the "for Dummies Part" but honestly I do struggle with the naming and I am sure I am not alone!
If you are like me, I feel uncomfortable carrying a book by that title around -no matter how good it is. Yes, they say don't judge a book by its cover but the truth is that when you go to a book store or a library the very first thing that attracts you to any book is its cover. So the cover of a book does have a lot to do with whether or not you would read it.
Perhaps some of us don't have to think too far back as growing up kids to remember how we either had to wrap a book we were reading but knew quite well our parents would not approve of if they saw us with it to the downright act of tearing off the cover to disguise what the book was all about. Yes, the cover was and unfortunately for many of us still always is a make or break.
Finally, add to that the way the motion pictures portray these kinds of books doesn't help either. When your friends hear that your girlfriend has dumped you, guess what book they nicely wrap and send to you? "The Dummies Guide to Dating" or when you decide to engage in some worthwhile venture, your friends come together and send you a "Dummies" book showing they don't have any confidence in your ability to succeed at it.
I am sure there are ways we can still get good content from any book without the awkwardness or first having to overcome the feeling of being an idiot.
Again if this was not already very clear from the foregoing, this is not passing judgement on the book or to say the book may not have very useful content as you described. This is about not making a book a put off for anyone who may be interested in reading it.

How about a book that starts from the basics of how to begin the entrepreneurial journey -testing and validation of your ideas? I just read the book The Mom Test: How to Talk to Customers and Learn If Your Business is a Good Idea when Everyone is Lying to You by Rob Fitzpatrick.
It contains very practical advice on how to test and validate your ideas before rushing off and making avoidable mistakes. I would recommend this for any person wanting to start the process of developing a product or service.
