Hi Indiehackers,

Here's my problem:- How Do I Spread Awareness About the Fact that Quora Marketing Works. People's Attention is mostly on Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn.

I am selling a Digital Product (EBook) on Quora Marketing. It is insanely actionable & helpful to all as this guide will help you get more traffic. But How to Convince People To Get Started on Quora. Of course, I have some case studies as well. What do I need more??

What's your problem??

Let's help each other in the comments below in this glaring situation. Do Comment on what I should do too :P

My biggest problem is choosing the best channel to focus my marketing efforts. It is difficult for me to find where my audience hangs out. For now I'm making a somewhat educated guess and starting there. Maybe that is par for the course?

Have you tried the Julian Shaprio's online guide to growth marketing? Has some interesting info on content marketing and paid ad channels - I used it to figure out that paid ads are never going to be profitable for me at the current rate of sign ups.

This is a problem for me too - figuring out where to reach potential users - I think looking back I should have put more thought into this before deciding to build the product, because with some products that are more obvious channels where potential users hang out

Hi @jeffreyfate, Maybe you could tell what your business/product is about & we can try to analyze where your audience lies.

      That would help

        Sure!

I'm currently exploring 3 angles, but the one I have the most trouble with is software developers, specifically Spring Boot developers.

The best I've come up with so far is Facebook groups, which is working ok at the moment.

My problem is figuring out how to leverage my non-technical legal background (criminal law) to develop a second source of income that allows me to continue working in my modest paying government job.

To your product, I have heard about Quora marketing but I'm not a marketer (although I'm learning as I go). I used Quora years ago after leaving the ask.metafilter.com community.

    • Why is Quora superior to other forms of marketing?
    • Who has used Quora and what kind of results have they achieved?
    • How much time do i need to invest in quora to make it work?
    • what business model do i need to get the most from Quora?

I didn't find the answers to those questions on your landing page, at least, not convincingly. I'm not the kind of person who buys ebooks on a promise - I usually consume a lot of the authors free posts or content to get a sense that they know the ins and outs of it. Your book is a lot of promises - no offense, and the terms "explosive", "turbocharge", among other words that turn off skeptical people like myself.

Perhaps you have another blog or page people go to before they land on your ebook page?

Thank you for your kind suggestions. I will definitely look into this. Yes, I do have my own blog here where I talk about Quora Marketing's Ins & Outs.

I will have to change the words that turn off the skepticism. Thanks for this. I needed this feedback.

For your problem, I would definitely recommend you to open up your own website. This opens up a lot of opportunities for a second income.

      They can be-

      1. Google Adsense

      2. Accepting Paid Guest Posts

      3. Selling your own course/ebook ( this can be related to your topic) - Perhaps you can teach people some of your topics in a course & then later sell on your website. A good source of income

      Hope you got it.

@Afhouston I have changed the content a little bit. Check the page now. Do you feel more confident now & less skeptical? Check page here

I didn't expect you to change it so I'm flattered you took the feedback so seriously. It does seem more legitimate and less hyped up in my mind.

Our biggest problem at Rejuvia (www.rejuviamedical.com) is our upfront cost! Our products are more expensive than other wellness supplements, so finding ways to lower our barrier to trial is challenging for us.

I get that. I think you should create a ton of valuable content on your website in the context of the blog. This will help people get more exposure.

For price, you should try using a funneled approach in your marketing to sell expensive products.

Search Value ladder in the marketing & you will get a gist of what I am talking.
