I work at WeWeb so definitely biased but hopefully my answer is helpful!
Retool has more native integrations with data sources like Cassandra, Datadog, and Front for example. For non-engineers like myself, the UI builder is a little hard to wrap your head around to start with.
WeWeb has native integrations with no-code data sources like Airtable, Supabase, and Xano as well as a REST API plugin which you can use to get data from other APIs. The page builder is more intuitive for non-engineers, especially if you're already used to no-code platforms like Webflow.

I think weweb is more for external sites, while Retool is internal.

I used Retool, seemed like a lot of hard work for little results. But that was few years ago.
