I like the app and the website. I just have a couple minor suggestions and some questions as well that I've added to That App Show. Looks like from your blog you have been making good progress; good luck on your path to v1.0!

You mentioned in the "what would you change about the app" section that the onboarding experience was good but that you would like to not have to put in as much info. Do you recall a particular set of info that you were asked for that you felt was extraneous? Always trying to make the onboarding experience easier :)
I think I should have separated out the comment a little better ;-) The onboarding was easy and quick and minimal with inputs. The list of pre-sets was also pretty great. The part about inputting things was me thinking of inputting stuff like gas fill-ups; those types of manual inputs / updates outside of the initial onboarding I know I won't be diligent at being consistent at. Though, that's true of me personally for any to-do type app...
That's a reasonable concern, I'm not great at keeping items in my todo lists either. My co-founder and I both have backgrounds in electronics and we've talked about designing an ODB-II module to plug into your car and automatically report the refueling data and such. Would be a large undertaking but would make keeping data a lot easier!
The landing page looks decent and it does do a good job of explaining what the app does. The screenshots make it look like the app is incomplete though; missing punctuation, unrealistic example tasks, etc. Also, I don’t see the need for an app like this in Canada when GM does a very good job of telling me when my truck is due for maintenance via OnStar, and my mechanic keeps track of routine maintenance needed for my other vehicle.
Valid points here, the app is a bit incomplete but the screenshots don't do a great job of making it look complete :)

There are definitively some improvements that could be done on font weights & sizes!
You could add 2px for every single styles you have (14px>16px // 16px>18px)
Also, your tagline (car maintenance made simple) is indeed clear but I don't know why I should use your app without reading most of your content.
There is a difference between a tagline and a USP (unique selling proposition), I would suggest that you remove AutoDo and go with something like:
<h1> Car maintenance made simple<h1>
<p> AutoDo is the only app you need to maintain and service your car, lorem ipsum sin dolor ...<p>
Some minor tweaks could be done on the design here and there, this could give your app more "credibility".

Do you think it's reasonable to have the USP as a centered header in the Features section of the site rather than in the hero? I don't want to clutter the hero too much, but I agree that the USP needs to be clearer.

It looks great and I understood what you are doing, but when I started reading the features I thought it was more like a to-do & reminder app more so you might want to change the title form "Task Reminders" to something more suitable for your product.
Another thing was the font-weight for the description is too thin it's "200" its really hard to read, you could change it to "400".
Other than these everything is great.

Yeah "Maintenance Reminders" seems more clear, also you might want to take a look at the mobile view, there are lots of problems there.
I like the color scheme on the landing page and I think it looks clean. One simple point of feedback would be to have all the nav bar headings together. I think it looks kine of awkward how AutoDO is on the left and all other nav buttons are all the way to the right.
Love the idea. I agree with others that perhaps there is a better name out there...something to better capture the car nature of the product (I don't have a specific suggestion for you - sorry).
A feature that I would personally love to have on this app, is the ability to export and share all maintenance records. I love wrenching on my car vs. taking it to the shop, but it can be hard to capture my work. Proof of maintenance during sale shows owner diligence, and can even help command a higher sale price and encourage the transaction. If there was a nifty way to validate and share this work with prospective buyers, I think it would greatly improve your app's attractiveness (that would personally be my biggest attraction to the product).

That feature is something that my co-founder and I had been talking about from a GDPR-compliance perspective, but you're right that it would be helpful for selling your car! I'll add this to the github issue we have going for the data exporting. Thanks!
Tagline suggests instructions not reminders.
Maybe "Car Maintenance Reminders" instead.
With "Autodo helps you avoid expensive repair bills" below - the latter needs to speak directly to your target (i.e. what is their #1 concern?)
Although u play on ToDo imo Autodo works as well.
