What are your top 2 learnings from creating a product?

I've been working on my product for 2 years, and something I have learned is:

Done is better than perfect

Don't throw code for throwing code, have some thinking time, draw some diagrams, even sleep a little and continue next day, creating a product is an art, need inspiration, not only a person who can build something right away

If I could give someone an advice, I will give them those, what about you?

I would love to know what is something you have learned on this path of creating a product 🙆🏻‍♀️

  • How many project have you created?
  • How many have been successfully and how do you define success on a product?

100% agree with your first point, you can gain so much more knowledge by launching early and adding what's missing once you gather more data.

I'd add this one to your advice list:

    Keep asking why

Getting to the root cause is crucial in order to solve actual problems and have happy customers. Used this extensively with my team at my previous job at a startup.

Yea, agree with you, and you can use that time between you launch something and you gather some data for "thinking time" to improve the code/UIUX/feature that has not been created yet, is like "procrastinate on purpose"
