Does a great job of breaking down nonfiction writing into logical pieces.

After going through, the universally-recommended, "Start Small, Stay Small" and "Getting Real", I'm now in the middle of "Thinking, Fast and Slow".
You can't go wrong with any of them.

I am currently reading The Hobbit, although I am really not getting enough time :(

For IH folks, my recent read that I found fantastic was The Toyota Way.

Thinking in Bets: Making smarter decisions when you don't have all the facts by Annie Duke.

Heard Annie on a podcast and she had some interesting ideas on measuring good decisions vs correct decisions. Looking forward to going deeper in the book.

Nothing related to Startups. But I am reading "Stumbling on Happiness." I became interested in it after watching Daniel Gilbert's TED talk.

So far it's been such an amazing book.

Kitchen Confidential. I have watched enough Bourdain television to read the book in his voice (in my mind), really enjoying it! and annoyingly share tidbits from the book now at restaurants (ie oh, it's Monday, shouldn't order fish cuz it's probably from last Thurs).

"This is Marketing" by Seth Godin – bought it because I love his podcast (Akimbo)
and rereading "Unscripted" by MJ DeMarco – I can't recommend this one enough.

I'm currently reading Chanakya in daily life. Almost done with it. I'm going to read Atomic Habits next.

Started on Recursion: A Novel the other day. Same author that wrote Dark Matter. Been good thus far, nice to change it up and get out of the non-fiction game a bit

I'm reading a bunch, and the one probably most relevant here is:
The History of the Future: Oculus, Facebook, and the Revolution That Swept Virtual Reality (video interview)

The first half is an epic founder story covering the creation of Oculus (and the entire modern VR industry) and the second half is more of a cautionary tale about tech/media giants in general and Facebook in particular. The entire book is a pretty gripping page-turner and one of the better founder stories I've read.

Also read "The Mom Test" last month. Highly recommend it.
