What business models exist? And what is yours?
Does anyone have useful resources of what business models exist?
When I think of business models, I mostly think of what the business does and how it makes money, definitions can vary, here's an article on from Harvard Business Review that explores what a business model is.
I thought it would be useful to collate a list of some sort on ways to make money.
And perhaps we can go further and explain what your business model is?

From my Ministry of Testing perspective our model was to make money through conferences and training via nurturing and focusing in on doing good things for the community. We've ended up making money by doing some marketing/sponsorship things for companies and now have a online learning/membership platform too (which is really just an online version of the offline learning opportunities we create).
There are literally millions of business models. It's what the business schools teach, lots of case studies, how each successful business finds their root and operates. At BeamJobs we operate on a contingency model. We get paid only in the instances when our clients have a successful outcome (for us, when they fill an open job vacancy).
