What can founders learn from the best website UI designs?

A website can have a great product behind it and still lose potential customers if the interface is confusing, slow, or difficult to navigate.

While researching successful websites, I noticed that the best UI designs aren't necessarily the most visually complicated. They usually do a few simple things extremely well:

Make navigation obvious
Keep important information easy to find
Use visual hierarchy to guide attention
Build trust through consistent design
Make the experience work well across devices
Reduce friction before the user takes action

For example, Amazon shows how a complex eCommerce website can organize a huge amount of information without completely overwhelming users.

Airbnb demonstrates how strong visuals, search filters, maps, pricing information, and reviews can work together to make decision-making easier.

Netflix is another interesting example. Its interface is designed around personalization and content discovery, rather than simply displaying everything at once.

And Duolingo shows how interactive elements and gamification can make an otherwise repetitive experience more engaging.
