I am building a site for fully location-independent jobs. I want to reach more recruiters to post on my site. What channels can I use to reach recruiters?
I think the motivation to post here would be the companies have the PR that they are location-independent. Think about the latest Atlassian Van campaign.
I'll appreciate your ideas and suggestions. Thank you.
Definitely Linkedin as other have said. You can do this with a free account.
So what you do is the following:
Find a famous recruiter on Linkedin that other recruiters follow.
Reach out to these people one by one.
Good luck!
Sorry, I didn't understand this. Reach out to followers of a recruiter?
yes, you can search for followers on a profile. So if you find a famous guy on Linkedin who posts recruitment tips, then look at his followers and approach them.
They should be recruiters.
thank you.
Try Linkedin, with filters like Talent Recruiter, Recruitment, HR, Human Resources Manager, Talent Acquisition. Those normally get what you need.
Cold message recruiters? wouldn't it need premium account?
Definitely LinkedIn for recruiters. I’ve met quite a few on Twitter as well. While I haven’t checked, there may be some sub-reddits too.
Best wishes!
Do you have any experience reaching out to founders on LinkedIn? how do you approach it?
I haven’t reached out to any founders other than one on LinkedIn; most of the time you have to have a premium account to message them.
I did speak with the founder of HatchWays, who I met through LinkedIn, but it was in regards to employment, but some ideas about her platform were thrown around. It was fun!
But recruiters are a dime a dozen on there, and if you start posting and reaching out, it’ll all just naturally happen. Seems like people are more willing to engage there.
What kind of post would you make there if you are to build this product? Build in public possible in LinkedIn just like Twitter?
Yes 100%!
