I'm going to build a marketing site for my web/mobile app, and was thinking of using Wordpress but I'm not familiar with the modern CMS.
I want something that I can easily create landing pages and blog posts with.
It should have good SEO, a theme marketplace and the ability to customize code.
Should I just go with Wordpress or are there better alternatives?
Webflow & Ghost are worth a look.
+1!
I’ve spent a lot of (misplaced) time with different static site generators and would probably say jeykyll among those because of if its stability and popularity more than anything else. But honestly the ecosystem with Wordpress can’t be beat so long as you do proper caching.
I've been using jekyll for years, but curious about switching to NextJs since I'm already using it for the apps anyway.
There's not a lot of "batteries included" for extras around static generation but have you tried that approach recently?
If you already know code https://versoly.com/ allows you to customize the code, while still being no code as you scale up.
We don't have a theme marketplace but let me know what styles you like and I might be able to code it up for you!
We have a lot of customers swap from all the big platforms (Wordpress, Ghost, Webflow and Squarespace)
Plus we have amazing support, me :)
This looks to be pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, awesome. I'll give it a try!
