What could I improve about my Landing?

https://newsreadeck.com/

Hi Group, I'm trying to "convince" people to download my app when they came from my landing.
Do you have any feedback to help me?

Thanks

    Hi Marcelo,

    Cool idea!

Some feedback I have that could improve conversions to install the app (in no particular order):

    • Mobile - header/nav add some padding margin above the logo
    • Mobile - header/nav - The download button should be either Google and/or Apple download buttons for the app, the current button looks like it's for Apple but doesn't register well, I'd keep it the same as any other app download button.
    • Desktop/Mobile - Same comment as above for the download button in the first section of the landing page
    • Desktop/Mobile - Slider with all the information sources is a bit much, I'd keep it simple, or link it to a sources page instead with out links to those providers for SEO
    • Desktop - FAQ's section - highly recommend making the whole faq question expand the accordion. It currently only opens when you click on the tiny chevron, which is a bit inconvenience.

    Thanks,
    Sam

In the FAQ section, each question should expand when clicking anywhere (not just the caret)

I have a question regarding your app more so than a critique of the landing page 😬, hope that's alright..
How do you handle the fact that news sites are very keen on having their articles read on their website? We've seen this recently with both Google and Facebook being sued by Australian Media for simply displaying an excerpt of articles in search results, because it gives users enough of a gist that they don't have to click through.. Newsreadeck is taking that a step further, so I'm curious how you're handling that?

This is not exactly what you asked, but you say "Newsreadeck is 100% free to use. We don't charge anything and we do not show advertising.". So how will this ever be a profitable business?

CRO practices aside, what's the benefit that you provide?
Do you get them access to gated content? Do you make them access ads-free news?
I don't feel compelled to download this app because I can have the same from Google. You lack a clear UVP imo.

In the FAQ I see these UVPs:

Users can select their news sources
Users can read the news ad-free and w/out distractions
    Users can listen to news

These value props should not be in the FAQ. They should be in the first screen of the page. (At least one of them)

Then the "Trusted by over 1M users" doesn't look legit. And the fact that you only have 9 reviews on your app store, makes me think that you actually don't have 1M users. So, in the user journey, that's a red flag that kills trust.
