I'm in the process of creating a business it's an agency and I'm ideally launching for 1st September.
I'd love to hear about the tasks you did prior to launching to provide further clarity on what is important, looking to learn about tasks like the following:
Web design, social media plan, promotions, financial projections, product mvp and outline, business plan, strategy for sales.
Let me know :)
If I did it over again I would say that the launch shouldn't be exciting. This is what I mean by that, first, you should find potential customers and ask them what problems they have in the area you are focused on. Don't even tell them about your product and just understand how they see the problem. Then you either go "oh I have something that solves that or you have to think about if what you are actually building will help them". If I could do it over I would do that instead of creating a product then showing.
Especially when it comes to agencies, the best launch strategy I've seen is to 'launch' once you already have clients working with you successfully.
In other words, do a soft, continuous launch. Start tomorrow. Launch to 3 friends you think might be a good fit.
Build your business, then put together a launch strategy with a landing page etc.
