April is almost over. So, what did you worked on? Were you productive? Share your challenges.
I finally started to sell online and earned my first $$$. I decided to sell a pre-release version of my book Deployment from Scratch and also delivered 3 updates throughout the month. My biggest challenge would be to make May even a better month.
Working on offdesign after a month off.
May will be a more productive one 'cause I'll be sharing more info on Twitter and other plateform.

I worked on launching a web hosting company.
My challenge:- I have a partner and at first I thought it was the best choice but I started to get irritated because I didn't like the pace we were going at.
Solutions:- I like to work alone. This means I get easily irritated when anyone I am working with does something in a different way. Once I understood this about myself, we have been able to work together smoothly.
We have set up everything, right now we are just struggling with coming up with a good logo and prices.
By two weeks, we will launch.
I got a fair amount done on https://boardcentral.app/ (which is my b2b SaaS app that provides a set of tools that help boards of organization govern better while reducing effort for both staff and board members alike).
Right now I am evaluating a move to fly.io for hosting so I am testing/planning that. I intend to do some feature dev work and I need to decide on a corporate form and structure (sole prop. vs corporation) so I can finalize my stripe setup and be ready to turn on billing.

Every company I've ever worked at that has native apps in production has always needed to build some form of force upgrade mechanism. Typically this looks like a single API endpoint, that then triggers a modal or something in a native iOS or Android app.
I decided to build a force upgrade system as a service but with much better tooling around it. I'm looking for iOS and Android devs to test this out to get some feedback for how best to turn this into something worth using in production.
Would love your thoughts.

I bit the bullet and launched the MVP of https://mastershot.app. I had been going back and forth in my head debating whether or not I wanted to launch it. Once I realized that I was falling into the well known trap of just-one-more-feature-and-then-launch, I sealed up some minor loose ends and opened it up to the world.
I think you are better off to launch. My book is also not finished, but I could get more feedback and even some money by just being out there.

Added the ability to share polls on https://minipoll.co/ via QR codes! This was a common feature request from people hosting webinars/conferences.
I like the minimalism.

I spent a good chunk of the month implementing Gmail integration to Newsletterss but decided to put it on hold, because I'm not sure that's in the best interest of my users as my product is privacy-focused.
I also added replies, my most requested feature. On the downside, this is the longest I've been without acquiring a single subscriber. New user acquisition tanked in the past two weeks and I'm still unable to find why.
I'm going to start testing Apple Search Ads to see if that helps, but I don't feel truly confident about starting paid acquisition campaigns.

That's actually interesting. I found Tailwind so messy I returned to Bulma. This could make it better!
Yep, that was the main inspiration. People don't like the bloat of the html classes. TwelveCSS will likely only be able to help with some of it.
