What do you do outside of indie hackers?

While working on the next biggest thing, what are you doing to make ends meet?

I do a whole range of stuff like supporting old custom software (that's actually my number 1 income!), flying drones, editing videos and writing promotional scripts.

    I do consulting.

    Specifically, social proof consulting.

Companies doing $15k-1.5m MRR come to me to grow their business by 2-10% with my social proof framework.

I don't really do any outbound client acquisition - I'm pretty busy with my S4F course. But normally I'll get 1-2 referrals or inbound requests each month. Which is nice and helps keep the lights on.

Plus, I find it so exciting to get a look into so many different kinds of companies. This year alone I've seen deep under the hood in a 'cheap flights' business, ecommerce, subscription boxes, B2B SaaS and more.

I give kudos to the guys grinding it out. It's tough to do much outside a full time job. Takes a healthy mind and body to push through.
