What do you guys think are Subscription Box's needs are?
Hi, as you all know, subscription boxes have been around for quite some time, and more seem to be proliferating. I wanted to get your thoughts on what kind of pain points they may be experiencing. Trying to get some ideas!
The service owners? or their users?
The service owners number one issues is getting delivery costs down, that's their number 1 expense and big factor for profitability, it's also a core service promise... Taking this you might customise a combo gig economy delivery with post/carrier fallbacks...
2nd would be getting more users, spreading the word.
3rd might relate to sourcing and/or innovating, due most of them, the successful ones are fairly static (razor blades, avocados), some are discovery/random based and keep sourcing new things, but that would be specific to one service..
Thanks hatkyinc - I'm just trying to understand the space a bit more. It doesn't seem like there's an efficient solution to any of these problems....I could just be less creative when it comes to these things.
