What do you guys think of my blog as a marketing strategy?

Content strategy is always a good idea, but it's a long-term bet. So I would suggest just stick with it, but don't expect a huge ROI in the short-term.

As another poster here said, I would post all of those blogs on my website and then import them in Medium through - https://medium.com/p/import

Tip. If you get in touch with Medium support, they can change the canonicals to up to 10 posts that you've already published, to save you to delete them and import them again.

That way you save the canonical URL and increase SEO effectiveness.

Besides that, the technical style of writing with a lot of graphs/images is appropriate for showcasing your expertise and therefore backing up your product offering.

The problem I see with hosting your blog on medium.com ergo on another domain than your main product is that you lose so much SEO potential. All the links that you might get are not improving your main domain.

You should really think about hosting it under your own domain to get the full benefit of a blog for promoting your main project.

I think blogging is great! Your blog is great for your target audience too so keep up the good work. Content distribution matters so much here so keep that in mind.

One thing that I to keep in mind is you are posting on medium (which is totally fine) but I find medium sucks for calls to action and keeping people engaged with your content. It also sucks for building your email list which is where your true fans will live. It will be much better in the long run to have people landing on your own website.
