I've been looking at ways to set up landing pages and there so many tools. I use Notion a lot so I wonder if I should use it for landing pages.
Is there any drawback to it?
Carrd and even Wix are good options. A while ago, I happily used Launchrock. For something more elaborate and with an advanced level of integration, Instapage works fabulous. Developed some 200 pages with it at one of my previous contract gigs. Service they sold was high dollar and they needed a rather advanced level of integration
As a developer, I often use WordPress + ComingSoon Pro plugin, or just code and design the damn thing myself
wow, instapages are amazing! thanks @milozo
I think it does the job as long as you've the most important elements on your Notion page.
The hardest thing would be funnel metrics. It's not simple to measure the on-page performance of a Notion page. Hopefully there's a solution my friend @Yucen
That's a good point. Metrics :) need to think of that. Thanks @felix12777
The draw back is the design, it probably won't convert so well. The performance is also questionable.
I use Notion as a website, but it's more for informational purposes.
I think you are right @rosiesherry that's what I thought too. The design is very limited 😅
My favorite tool for a super quick landing page is landen.co. Simple but not so little you have to switch to something else immediately.
I personally wouldn't use notion because it doesn't feel like a landing page and feels and looks more like documentation (Admittedly some people can do some pretty amazing stuff with it)
took a look at landen, damn it's cool. I discovered so many web building tools with this post haha. Thanks @bstar
