Getting Brooklet in the hands of thousands of users. How the heck do you market a consumer product?
https://www.brooklet.app/download
Have you tried influencer marketing? Find a youtuber with an an audience that is likely to use your app. Here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ws2WfeD6d8
Pay that youtuber to talk about your app in their next video. Most youtubers are willing to do this as long as your product adds value to their audience.
Write case studies of ppl using the app. Get those featured in newsletters.
What did you search to find this channel?
Also, any tips on reaching out to people for influencer marketing?
Ask your self "What types of things would my target customer search for on youtube". Since you're selling a habit tracker, your target customer will probably search for personal development related channels.
Search youtube for those queries. I searched for "how to build better habits"
Find youtube channels with a big audience (I would start with a small channel to test with, maybe 5k to 10k subscribers)
Message the channel owner anyway you can. Track them down on instagram and send a DM. Find their email. Whatever it takes
tell them you'll pay them to promote your app to their audience. They will probably want to try it out and make sure they actually like your app before agreeing to proceed.
Pay them, get promoted, and you'll start getting customers
Thanks for the tips!
Now my question for you - what template did you use to build the website brooklet.app ? I love the loading animation/transition effects
I found it here https://bootstrapthemes.co/
I just learned Flutter, and am trying to bootstrap an app which works for merchants and their customers. I am like an entry level app developer, maybe a mentor would be very helpful in my current scenario.

I'm looking for a freelance front end developer/designer that can build us a nice HTML5 video player. I bought one off of Theme Forest about 5 years ago, and now it's dated. So I'm looking for someone who can make us a nice mobile responsive player.
Hi Shane! I'm creating an online game in HTML5 that uses Web Sockets to transmit data (which can also be used for video streaming). I'd be happy to help, feel free to DM

Hi, looking for some help on activating new users for our new mobile app Simplish (https://simplish.co/) .
We are finding that users are excited to signup but then drop off relatively quickly due to being overwhelmed on setting up a new system to organize their work or life. Would love to know if anyone has had some success with activation metrics they can share.
Thanks in advance!

I know this is IndiaHackers bread and butter but - I launched a newsletter on Responsible Investment in September and have a goal of hitting 1000 subscribers before the end of the year. How did other hackers get their first 1000 sign-ups?

I want to get it in front of a niche developer audience that wants to learn Vim and am looking for better ways to do it.
I'd love to talk with people who have done/are good at the following:
Happy to help with growth ideas, job search, & getting your first sales.
Hi @nahart, send me an email on mutuli99@gmail.com and we can discuss more about those 3 bullet points.
Right now help with growth would be great. People so far seem to like the idea and website itself, it's just getting the word out there and SEO things aren't easy right now.
I just want to sleep and wake up well rested. I'm back logged, need to sleep for several years to get caught up.
Looking for a technical co-founder who may be interested in building an awesome mobile app.
Would you like to share details about the mobile app, that will help.
A mobile app which aggregates reservation systems (API) from OpenTable, Resy, etc and lets the user see restaurant availability from all those systems. Then there's also a social component to it to make picking a restaurant easier for a group of people.

Anyone had success with cold email marketing campaign for scaling customer base?
Yes, for multiple companies actually. Can you list some of your obstacles here? Happy to share some resources that helped me and talk a bit about my own experience.
Thank you for your advice! Would it be ok if I emailed you with more details? Thanks.
Of course - feel free to use the email address in my profile.
I need help with growing my podcast, Code Story (https://codestory.co). I've gotten great feedback on the show, its been well received, and everyone who is interviewed has enjoyed being on it. I think there are a ton of people (tech and non-tech) who would enjoy the conversations. I'm a novice marketer, and an engineer at heart - so this part of the equation is difficult for me.
I'd recommend making it easy for your guests to promote the show and becoming an interview on other podcasts similar to yours.
@nahart - great idea, what are some things that you have done, or others have done, to make it easy for guests to promote the show?
Happy to help you with some insights on what could help you grow the listener base. Question first: what have you done so far in order to promote it. Have you seen some channels perform well (and others not too well?)
It's almost midnight here so bit tired to go in-depth at the moment, but if you can give me some background info on what you've done so far I am happy to look at it in the morning and comment with some resources and help you in the right direction.
Hi @FrankHeijdenrijk thanks for your comment. I haven't done more than social media and a weak email list so far. Twitter seems to be the best at the moment, but nothing is really "taking off".
I need help in creating awesome animation video for Group Leads.
