What do you think about affiliates? Have you succeeded with them?

Do you have any tips or experience? What's your view on the topic?

Hey! I can speak to this a little.
I have several affiliates some of whom already made money, and others just getting started.
My product is an info one so not a SaaS. It works to a degree -- not as many sales as I'd like, but some better than none.
I am also looking for large audience places to run one time affiliate promos.

How did you get those affiliates?
We want to take time and build a serious program that gives a great experience to everyone!
Some I reached out to manually. Some came to me via a form I put on my site.
I vet everyone before approving. You have to make sure they are not going to drag your brand through dirt for a quick buck.
