What do you think about my brand positioning?

https://www.inspector.dev

Hi hackers, I hope in your genuine feedback about my brand positioning and landing page.

My product is a developer tool - Inspector, Laravel real-time performance & error alerting.

The problem:
Every software-driven company has a lot of competitors in any niche.
In a highly competitive market, especially for product based business, an application issue can expose companies to competitive or even financial risks. Out there, around every corner, there are dozens of alternatives among which users can choose.

It’s too important for developers to catch errors on their products --before-- their users stumble into the problem drastically reducing negative impact on their experience.

Yes, it's possible. Inspector is an autonomous tool that inspect your application 24/7 to intercept any software issue and alerts you in real-time to fix the problem immediately, before users stumble into the problem.

Thanks to the early results gathered by publishing contents on the subject, I realized that the problem is felt, it was not just my fantasy.

Competitors:
Now it is important to understand Inspector brand position in front of the competitors.

There are two type of competitors:

1 - Simple exception traps (Sentry, Bugsnag), with no performance alerts.

2 - Comprehensive performance monitoring tool (Datadog, Stackify, Loggly) that requires time to configure and to understand how they works. I found this kind of tools too tricky, with a huge amount of features, probably more focused on big customers and this could be a problem for SMB that don't have enough time or even dedicated engineer. Often they are also expensive.

I designed Inspector to get in the middle. It's really simple to use, you can start in one minutes and basically requires no configuration, with a dashboard focused on one simple but effective real-time metric to understand your application status at a glance.

Here is the product website: https://www.inspector.dev

I don't know if I'm communicating this positioning in a synthetic but attractive way. I'm trying to do it, but external feedback is the only way to improve.

Have you shared the posts in laravel-news site? If not then do it, it'll give your product a big exposure in laravel community

How can I do that? Is it needed to contact the maintainers? Thanks for your advice.

I'm using a freemium formula, so I need to wait adoption in the next days.

Great domain name. Idea sounds simple enough but if it's about competition, then I suggest focusing on sales and business development as opposed to branding. You're going to have to convince Laravel users to try your product. Hence, are you seeking out where there are laravel users and getting them to test your app?
If you've validated your idea and product then work on content marketing such as "vs" articles and "how to" tutorials to explain the benefits over the competition.

Hi, thanks you for your time.
In fact the biggest impact in terms of web site traffic and new account registrations was generated from a step by step guide [Laravel + Inspetor] published in some of the most known Laravel channels (Reddit, Facebook group).

It could be the time to create a video version, continuing to explore this way.

      Thanks for your great feedback!
