What do you think about Supply Chain as a Service (SCaaS)?
Hi Indie Hackers community! I'm curious to hear your thoughts on Supply Chain as a Service (SCaaS). This is a relatively new concept where companies can outsource their supply chain management to a third-party provider, much like how they would outsource their IT or HR functions.
There are already a few companies offering SCaaS solutions, such as Flexport and ShipBob, and it seems like a promising area for innovation and disruption. On the other hand, there may be concerns around data privacy, vendor lock-in, and loss of control over the supply chain.

well, SCaaS is pretty good and out there is a lot of company required it.
personally, i am also working on WMS(Warehouse Management System).
but, complexity of technical issue is a problem.
especially on Stock Opname, you needed to recount every stock on specific location and needed to freeze stock transaction.
there is also issue with Purchase and Supply Order, where you needed a high resource on server (when we do SO/PO, server will quite laggy).
but nevertheless, SCaaS is quite promising project.
