What do you think of my newsletter landing page?

It's the first time I'm designing a landing page for my projects. I'd like to know your thoughts about the landing page I designed for my new side-project. Do you think it's informative and attractive enough?

My 3 main suggestions.

1. No animations, please
The animation on the main headline is distracting. And it makes impossible to understand the message at first sight.

If you want to use that headline, say "The best of the day".

2. Problem? Result?
The copy is not engaging. You don't target any problem of the reader. And you don't even promise a specific result, since you talk about "interesting area of the web" (what if I'm interested in business and you send me interesting content about gardening...).

3. Simplify the subscription process
Having both the form and the "topic selection" forces the reader to 2 decisions. And he still doesn't trust you that much.

You're asking him too much effort. Ask only for the email and then give him the option to select what contents he like.

I think an example is what Inside.com does.

  Yes, I'm trying to redesign the home page. At first, I wanted to cover a few topics such as introducing a new book, word of the day and etc.
  but I think it's better I start with one of them (e.g. Book of the day), then add more topics on the way.
  
  For now, I'm gonna focus on Book of the day and redirect all traffic to book.oftheday.io then, whenever I covered other topics, I give an option to user to subscribe to an individual newsletter (Book of the day) for a daily update, or receive a weekly (or maybe monthly) email about everything we introduced during the week.
  
  The challenge here is how to explain all of these to users :D

      I'm not gonna do it manually, I have a few databases of books, words, quotes, I'm gonna use them. Of course, I'll check the content's quality before I send them to users.

Hi Saeed,

Here is my take on it.

Positives:
1. Standing out call to action.
2. Good hierarchy when it comes to text.
3. Giving the option to bookmark interests.
Improvements:
1. No logo or navbar on the top. It's a natural element of a website. Use a text logo and a CTA in navbar.
2. The h1 is not about the newsletter. Make it clear. Use words that provide value to the subscriber. Maybe, you can combine the h1 and the text below it to make a good header.
3. The "Subsribe" CTA text does not convey the emotion. Use more actionable copy.
4. The illustration does not connect. It shows a person at work. Use a strong image or an illustration that connects with the idea of interesting facts.

Hi Saeed,
- What your site is about? "Interesting area of the web" is too vague. Interesting for whom? Why it's interesting?
- The picture is lovely but totally useless. It doesn't add value or helping me understand what this landing page is about.
- I haven't received anything interesting after subscription, also I don't see unsubscribe option. You can send your first newsletter right after subscription.
- As for me, it's better to remove "more is coming soon" placeholder. It's better to focus on existing categories. Is this site is going to be curated by you? Are you going to do it for every day?
- "Enter your email" is written twice.
- Subdomains aren't HTTPS.

  all of your points are valid, but honestly, I don't know what to write on the landing page. I've changed the text many times, but IMO none of them were good. Could you please tell me what should I mention in the landingpage?

  I forgot to mention that the site is not completed yet and still I'm working on its functionality and design.

    Try to articulate the idea you're doing. Try to understand what is the value for the customer who will subscribe. It will be much easier to write the text after this.

Wow, I really like the design of it. Copy is simple and straightforward. Text and color blends in nicely. Also, there's a book suggestion in the end to show readers what to expect. Just awesome!
