What do you think of our landing page?

Hi IH,

Here it is, https://adzoft.com/

We just finished our landing page and we are looking for feedbacks. Based on the landing page, what is your first impression? Do you think something like this would make you contact us?

Any suggestions or tips?

TIA

Hey @itszee, overall the landing page looks clean, and works well on mobile. Have you considered targeting a specific audience? For example "We specialise in React" , or "We build websites for Hotels" ect.

Hi @tim_mc thank you for the feedback appreciate it! Yes we are still on the process of thinking about what to focus on right now. We're thinking on a booking system or ecommerce for SMEs. But as of the moment we just want to launch it and accept projects and start the company. and hopefully along the way we find the right mix for us.

It’s pretty but it really seems like it’s lost a lot of the function you’d expect on a website. Nobody expects your site to slide sideways instead of up and down. The slide on the right provides no information and looks like it’s going to link to your other pages but doesn’t. Overall just based on the landing page I know what you’re company does but I would not be impressed. I think I tend to prefer design that puts functionality and information as the top priority.

Hi @soso thank you for the feedback. Yeah I agree with what you said and changed the layout so we put all together in one page you can check it out again. So to impress someone like you what do you think you want to see on the landing page? do you want to see more information about us? our past works/projects?

    Overall, looks beautiful!

    Nits:

    1. The frontpage is too empty, and one has to find where to go to find more details. For the attention deficit generation of ours, that's asking for too much. I would even remove the dropdown for about etc and keep it on top pane 1 click away instead of two clicks and hidden.
    2. Slider doesnt work
    3. The orange and blue contrast is a bit too overwhelming. I would have gone for a more muted combination, but that's me.

Hi @redshadow thanks for the feedback.

      1. Do you think bringing details in the front page would work better? We're planning on removing the dropdown on bigger screen and put dropdown for smaller screens. what do you think?
      2. The slider works but if you're using a pc you have to drag it like in your mobile. Will work on it.
      3. For the color combination we're still looking for the right combination for us lol.

        1. Definitely would. Makes details one click away and more obvious to know where everything is. The small screen vs big idea makes sense.
        2. Sounds good. I am no design expert by any measure, but curious how you think about sliders vs scrolling down for more details? I feel the latter is more obvious, but up to you :)
        3. Sounds good!

        All the best!

    Hey, the illustration is sick!
The carousel doesn't seem to work thou.
I would think about how to make that homepage more functional e.g. bring your work to the front

      Hi @maximal,

Thanks for the feedback! Are you talking about the works? if it is, i'm thinking of having some of the works in the front and if user wants more details they can navigate through the works page. What do you think?
