What do you think of this idea?

A place where you choose to learn a particular thing & it shows you crowdsourced resources.

These might be categorized as youtube vids, blogs, socials to follow, courses, books, podcasts.

Folks can also rate stuff, so you can sort them.

If you are aggregating from multiple sources, that's half decent. How are your planning on curating the content? so it doesn't turn into Google.

    Also, monetization through ads?

Have you looked at this startup called Almanac?

I like it. It seems hard to collect and build though. However, I may be wrong. 😀

the crowdsourcing will happen in the app itself, users can submit stuff

Sure, they can, but it hard to make them doing it :)))

Nice! I had a similar idea to yours.

Some of the main challenges could be:

    • aggregate resources from different sources.
    • show what's the most relevant quality content. If someone is interested in painting or content writing there are already thousands of resources available, it can be easy to get overloaded. How to show those that are the most relevant to the user?

I'm thinking to start out with just programming as a focus, easy to attract the right people as it's a niche and also there's a lot to learn.

such a platform actually needs some time too to have a good amount of resources and user ratings.
