Hey IH,
I just launched a new landing page for Glow. One of the biggest pieces of feedback from last time was not having actual pictures of the UI, so we've added them in.
Do you think it's clear enough what the product is?
Thanks! 🙏

Why is your current link-in bio being out-of-date would be bad for the end user?
How does Glow keep your links being up-to-date?
Hey, thanks for your feedback. I've updated the landing page copy a bit more to better answer your questions.
Hey @alexpate,
Here are some thoughts on the good things:
It's a cool idea that you can have auto updating content like what you're listening to on Spotify or what you're doing on GitHub.
The design is nice and spacious. Plenty of breathing room.
It's free to get started.
Here are some things that could be improved:
Headline:
"Always Current. Uniquely You."
This doesn't tell me much about what is unique about the product. "Always Current" is a vague hint at it pulling in content from other sources. "Uniquely You" is another vague hint that you can customize your page.
Neither really focus on the benefits of those features.
Neither immediately say what the product is about either. Take that headline off of your page and you can probably drop it onto a dozen other landing pages.
---
Subhead:
"Glow is the link in bio that stays up-to-date with your content."
We're starting to get somewhere with this one but it's still a little vague. What if my content exists solely on my WordPress/Webflow/Wix site? If I don't use X or IG or Spotify, does this still work? Do you have a list of sources that Glow integrates with?
---
Your CTA(s):
"Claim Invite" - First CTA
As a new reader of this site, I was immediately confused about how to claim an invite. When I click, the modal tells me that if I don't have one, I have to reach out and ask for one.
That just created some friction for me because I don't want to have to reach out and ask for an invite code.
"Get Started" - Second CTA
Wait, so now I don't need an invite code? I can just click "Get Started"?
Now there's a cognitive load on how to get started.
Also, all CTA buttons open modals that don't have a way to close them. This traps me into taking the action of signing up with Twitter or Google. This is an anti-pattern and an accessibility issue - https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/keyboard-operation-trapping.html

Crosshead:
"The dynamic link-in-bio"
Dynamic is often a jargon word that developers use. Though your audience is probably pretty savvy, some people may not know what it means to be "dynamic".
Can you say that in a more common and conversational way? Maybe add a little excitement to it?
Maybe say it in a way that the user makes the connection with how they'll use your app?
Something like:
"You post something cool on Instagram and your Glow page gets updated automatically"
---
Bento design section:
The image with X, Twitter and Spotify funneling into the page is good. I'd move that up next to your headline so the connection can be made faster.
Dynamic:
"Glow does the hard work for you, fetching all of the latest content to keep your page fresh."
I'd caution against saying "all of the latest content" as it again raises the question (and possible objection) of what "all" means.
Maybe reframe it along the lines of:
"Connect X/IG/Spotify and we'll keep your page fresh with your latest content"
OR
"Tell us what to watch. When you make changes, we'll update your page"
Drag & Drop:
This one is a personal one for me, but the image is confusing. It looks like I'm dragging something onto a mobile screen. To really show the Drag & Drop functionality, I'd rather see a page being built.
Customizable:
"With a few clicks, you can customize the look and feel of your page."
Good intent but why is this important? Customization is a very common feature in most apps, so it might not be enough of a draw to call out for Glow. That is, unless other link in bio products don't let you customize. If that's the case, you need a MUCH stronger call out for this feature.
The name of your product is "Glow". Your headline says "Uniquely You". Push this feature a bit harder and spell out the benefit.
Something like:
"It's your page. It should look like it. Pick your own colors, fonts and more..."
Works Everywhere:
I just have to ask - Does it really? Does this work on an Apple watch? What does it look like on those refrigerators with the browser in the door?
If you didn't test it everywhere, don't say that.
Also, responsive design is expected these days.
Be less boastful and get to what matters - "Your page will look great on mobile and desktop".
Also, show examples of mobile and desktop pages rather than icons.
---
With all that nonsense being said, let me ask you a few questions:
I recommend answering those questions and then come back to the copy and the images.
If it's about having a page that truly represents you, then speak to that. If it's about having a page that auto updates with the stuff you most want to share, speak about that.
Hope that helps.
Good Luck!
Wow thanks so much for your feedback! I've updated the main landing page based on the main parts of your feedback.
