What do you think this product does?

Hey, IH!
We're about to start a new iteration on our landing page, and we want to make sure we deliver a proper message to everyone coming to our website. I'm asking for a raw "brain dump" style feedback. What do you think it is? Who is it for? How it made you feel? etc
Thanks!

From just the name, felt like it's maybe something related to Hello Bar, Sumo Smart Bar, etc.

Looking at the site, seems like it's a Confluence type app / knowledge base for teams. That actually comes across pretty clear to me.

Who it's for.... generically, teams... teams that use slack. Didn't seems to be hyper niche for any particular types of teams.

Feelings... was all very feature-focused. You've told me what the product is and TBH, it's not very wordy, so I love that. But there's nothing there that's telling me how my team and I are going to succeed using your platform.

I think the closest you come to telling me about how we'll succeed is with the chat bot, but even that is just telling me about a feature. I'd come in hot with something like "Never lost track of anything... our sophisticated AI-powered chat bot is always ready to help you find what you need" or something like that.

You hint on answering the same question over and over, I definitely think that's a big freaking problem.

Just found the "why does my team need it". Feel like those bullet points could be hoisted out from under the clickable FAQ section and use those as your talking points. Each are pretty strong points about why my life maybe already sucks... then you can get a bit wordier about how you solve it / how I succeed.

    Anyway, just my 0.02 :)

Also my usual recommendation... if you haven't read Building a StoryBrand, I'd highly recommend that you pick it up before you start redoing your site. It's an amazing book on marketing / branding / story telling.

Thanks, @joshtronic! You brought up some very valid points here

        StoryBrand book 70% done
Trying to fill out the brandscript here: https://www.mystorybrand.com/collaborate/MjAxNTkzMi9hODZjYWM5MmZjZDZkMmE1
Will then convert it into a new landing. Thanks for the book suggestion, @joshtronic!

          NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE! Really coming together!

Actually re-reading it right now and doing a new brandscript as well.

What's really interesting in doing the same exercise a few months apart is how much better the brandscript is coming together for us. The points are more concise and harder hitting. The entire narrative of who our customer is and how we help them succeed has shifted a bit to the point that our product is barely the focus.

Can't wait to see the new site.

One note on your transitional CTAs, I think a one page PDF on the negative/positive impacts of documentation as a whole on an organization (and not necessarily about how your product can impact them) would be a huge win.

Concise points - that's what is really hard :)

I think a one page PDF on the negative/positive impacts of documentation as a whole on an organization (and not necessarily about how your product can impact them) would be a huge win.

Definitely on the roadmap, we're just looking for resources to help us produce higher quality content about Knowledge Management in general, there's so much to say there!

    raw feedback

OneBar. I thought it was related to drinks, or online wine store, or food, like a sports/protein bar. https://one1brands.com/products/

AI driven Q&A knowledge base for...

AI driven - the landing page doesn't mention anything how AI fits into this. What's AI about it? It seems this buzzword was just thrown in there.

What do you think it is?

An online wiki? A searchable FAQ page?

Thanks for the feedback! We've learned about the protein bar only after we came up with a name :)
