What do you use for GDPR compliant session recordings?

Hi indie hackers, I'm looking for a solution for GDPR session recordings aka Hotjar, but without the need to show cookie consent banners for our users. We are currently using Plausible for analytics which has been great, but am missing a session recordings feature and I couldn't find one that is GDPR compliant. Any suggestions?
