What do you use for sending email to your users?

Right now I'm struggling with something with my SaaS. I'm starting to have a lot of users but I can't find a solution to send emails automatically to my users in a conditional way.
For example, my SaaS has a credit system that the user can buy, I would like to automatically send a mail to the users when they reach a certain amount of credit. Or when they don't use their credits for a certain time etc...
I can of course code this myself but I was wondering if there is not an existing solution that allows direct synchronization to my database (via webhook for example)
Does a crm allow to do that ?

Customer.io is exactly what you need.
If you are a dev, I think the most convenient and customizable solution is to use an email service like Amazon SES or SendGrid. Easy to integrate and they have free plans :)
Yes, I can do that but my cofounder (who is not a dev) can't change mails or update conditions alone...
If you push events and contact properties to intercom.io, then your non-technical co-founder can configure emails directly in Intercom. They have startup pricing, so I’d recommend applying for their startup program.
