What do you use for subscription management?
by

What tools do you use for things like recurring billing, trials, automate billing etc.?
Are there any good alternatives to Stipe? Stripe is a great service but their fees are high.
I use Stripe and recently also switched to their prebuilt subscription checkout / customer portal system. Works great and been a happy customer for 6+ years.
Stripe.
Great experience to implement, API documentation from heaven, solid support when needed, acceptable fees, nice features & ecosystem (e.g. revenue recognition reports).
I am building a template for myself that will use Paddle. The reason being easy taxes for me as an European.
There's this really neat starter kit you can try out which uses Next.js, Supabase and Stripe: https://github.com/vercel/nextjs-subscription-payments. It saved me a lot of time on my projects.
Now on to the shameless plug :)
I've been building Limiter, a low-code tool for managing subscription limits and quotas. I'm hoping to ease some of the toil SaaS makers have to go through to set up, enforce limits and track usage, all that without having to give up control of their data.
Free tier is good to go, still working on the advanced features for paid tier. Hope to see you on it: https://www.applimiter.com
