What do you wish you knew before moving to your current apartment?
Hi all!
I had an idea recently that has refused to get out of my head: I've been having issues with a noisy neighbor (this is being exacerbated by staying inside due to covid) and am going to move however it's always a risk because you never know if the next place will be better.
So I wondered - what if I could read reviews of an apartment before moving in? What if noisy neighbors, unresponsive landlords, busy intersections etc. weren't just a thing you found out about on Day 1 and dealt with?
I've learned the hard way that you need to validate an idea before going for it, so I've set up a Google form with just 5 questions to understand if this adds value and whether or not this is worth building out.

They're some sites that already do this,

That's true, I found those sites as well however they both came up short in that they really don't have many reviews and the buildings they do have reviews for (at least in my city) are the large/expensive managed buildings but not the more common apartment buildings.
The hard part then is to see if there's a way to be even more comprehensive.
