What drives you in the morning?

I guess everyone asks this question time to time. If you're working on a full-time job and doing things on a side, or being fully devoted to your project.

But it's always interesting to hear everyone's opinions.
Thus: "What drives you in the morning?"

Usually a double shot of espresso and a cup of coffee. ;)

How many do you need through the day? 😄

Sounds like the best motivator one could find.

    I have my own company.

I wake up each morning eat a bowl of muesli (my wife makes). Then I ride my fixie to the office at wework in the city.

After checking emails and socials I then grab a coffee from a small local cafe close by. It's a bit of a ritual... but I really really look forward to that coffee.

I love turning up because I seriously don't know what the day will hold. I have face-to-face and slack meetings, calls and work to do... but mostly my day is filled with learning, reading and thinking deeply about solving client problems. Clients and brands I love working with.

Cafe? Depends on where I stay :) But if you meant to ask about my fav coffee, then either latte or espresso machiatto ^_^

    That's a great question Tomas....
Q: What drives you in the morning?
A: Creating a bigger future than my past.

    1. 1

Do you plan the days before? Do you do personal retrospectives time to time?

    Beating morning traffic. lol

I didn't like coming to work after sitting in morning traffic for 1.5hrs. So as of the past 3 months, I shifted my schedule and workout early morning (gym is closer to work). This starts my day on a positive note. I love the change.

After work, I go to a cafe or local library to work on side projects until traffic dies down in the evening.

    And repeat.

Have you ever though about remote work?
