I've been using Lemon Squeezy. I use it as an external checkout but you can use it as a cart overlay on your website. Another alternative is Paddle. It seems to be liked by many people!

I used to work with Adyen and I think it is a good alternative to Stripe.

I heard about https://www.getrevin.com/ which is basically a wrapper over Stripe.
2 things I like about Revin are:
-They handle taxes
-They work in countries where Stripe isn't working
