I am a lawyer. Contract law is one of my specialities, and while your app does contract analysis, it does not really understand the concept of "reasonable".

I ran a 7-day build-in-public series that attracted exactly this mismatch: the people who engaged were builders and developers; the people I needed were medical professionals. Engagement looked like signal. It wasn’t the right signal.
The question after a viral moment isn’t just ‘did people come?’ It’s ‘did the right people come, and did they see what they needed to see to take the next step?’ Sounds like you’re working through exactly that second question now.

I kept saying "offline transcription" but what people actually care about is: "can I record a sensitive client call without my audio going to someone else's server?" To be honest my Product Hunt launch was very early. At that time the product was basically just a single page MVP and I launched mostly to see how people react and get feedback.
It ended up ranking #54 Product of the Day and brought some early traffic and users testing the tool. I think the right moment is when people can at least try the product, even if it's still simple.
For me the goal wasn't a perfect launch, just learning from real users.

From what I’ve seen so far, it’s a mix. Some uploads seem to come from founders or small business owners reviewing vendor or partnership agreements, and some look like freelancers checking client contracts.
Interestingly, there are also a few users who started using the tool right after the launch and are still uploading contracts from time to time. And at the same time, new users are still discovering the Indie Hackers discussion and trying the product with their own agreements.

Right now there is no strict limit on the number of files.
Users can upload multiple contracts and analyze them one by one. I'm still experimenting with limits as usage grows to keep the system stable.
The goal is to make it easy for small businesses to quickly review agreements whenever they need to.
