What happens when you're unexpectedly launched on PH

So, today the product we've been building for 11 months, Senja, got launched on PH.

The only problem is, somebody else hunted it for us.

We had done a shit ton of planning over the last 6 months to craft the perfect Product Hunt launch, but now we're going to have to abandon our perfectionism, and support this to the end.

We considered contacting support to cancel the launch, but we figured it must be fate since two weeks ago, we had planned to do this today, but abandoned it because we were behind schedule.

Some things we've done to salvage the launch

  • My cofounder and I have posted on Twitter & DMd a bunch of people.
  • We've sent an email to our list of over 1100 people asking for their help
  • I'm going to add a banner to our site mentioning the launch

It's been an hour since we find out. Will definitely write about here on IH once it's all over!

If you'd like to support us, you can help out here!
